About this pattern

In Emily Dickinson’s poem, Death arrives like a courteous gentleman in a carriage and takes the speaker on an unhurried ride towards eternity. Seven lines of blackletter with a large “Death” fill the hanging, and at the bottom a frieze of two lily-of-the-valley sprigs carries skulls instead of bells. A border of openwork crosses runs round it.

The Epitaphs are four wall hangings with quotes from classic gothic literature, set in a blackletter alphabet built from meshes: every thick stroke is 2 meshes, every thin one 1 mesh. Each hanging has a different edging, so together they teach step by step. All four are also available as a set.

This is a beta pattern: the chart has been checked, but the hanging hasn't been made yet. If anything needs fixing, the corrected version reaches you for free through your download link.
