1. The seller

Lilac & Lace is run by Lilianna Laudy, ul. Przy Forcie 12a/38, 02-495 Warszawa, Poland, as a small non-registered business activity (działalność nierejestrowana) under Polish law. Email: [email protected].

These terms apply to patterns bought on lilacandlace.eu and in the Lilac & Lace store on Payhip.

2. What you buy

• Our patterns are digital content: PDF files with charts and instructions. Nothing is shipped.
• To use a pattern you need a device that can open PDF files (a computer, tablet or phone with a PDF reader) and internet access to download it. You can print it if you like. The file may show the email address used for the purchase; it has no other copy protection.
• Each pattern page lists the skill level, the recommended thread and hook, the number of pages and the approximate size. Size and thread amount depend on your gauge, so they are estimates.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in euro (EUR). The final price, including any VAT that applies in your country, is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Checkout and payment are handled by Payhip. You can pay by card (processed by Stripe) or with PayPal.

4. Order and delivery

• The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed.
• Right after payment you get a download link on screen and by email from Payhip. Please save the file on your device.
• If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or write to [email protected].

5. Right of withdrawal

If you did not give this consent, you may withdraw within 14 days of your purchase by sending a clear statement to [email protected]. We will refund your payment within 14 days, using the same payment method.

6. Faulty files and complaints

• We are responsible for making sure that a pattern matches its description and works as it should, for example that the file opens and is complete.
• If something is wrong, email [email protected] with the pattern name, your order email and a short description. You can do this for up to 2 years after your purchase.
• We reply within 14 days. We will first try to fix the problem, usually by sending a corrected file. If that isn't possible or doesn't happen within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or a full refund.
• When we correct a mistake in a chart or in the instructions, the updated file is made available to everyone who bought the pattern.

7. What you may do with a pattern

• The patterns are protected by copyright and remain the property of Lilianna Laudy.
• When you buy a pattern, you get a personal licence to use it for your own crafting. The licence can't be transferred.
• You may not copy, share, upload, resell or distribute the PDF or its charts, in whole or in part, including in translation.
• You may sell items you make by hand from our patterns, for example at craft fairs or online. A credit such as “Pattern by Lilac & Lace” is appreciated. Industrial or mass production is not allowed.

8. Help with a pattern

If you get stuck, email [email protected] with the pattern name and the row number, and we will help.

9. Out-of-court dispute resolution

If we can't resolve a complaint together, consumers may ask for help from consumer bodies. In Poland these include the municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) and the voivodeship Trade Inspection (Wojewódzki Inspektorat Inspekcji Handlowej); see prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. Consumers in other EU countries can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country. Taking part in such a procedure is voluntary; if we reject a complaint, we will tell you whether we agree to one.

10. Law and changes

• These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
• We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.
